TCP Split-Handshake and the ASA
After a lot of investigation and testing, Cisco PSIRT closed the investigation in regard to Cisco ASA behavior with the TCP Split-Handshake. Conclusion is that ASA, against other security devices, is able to detect and handle this kind of connections without any problems, wether NAT-Control is enabled or not.
