Four years ago, I started using Google Apps in order to get mail redundancy. I used to have a dedicated server at home for this domain mail, file server, and all that kind of stuff.

Recently I removed this server. So, now I only use Google Apps for networkbits.es domain mail, and calendar. Of course, the free version. December 8th, I’ve received an email from Google Apps Team, noticing that they will no longer offer the free version to new customers. There will only be available the paid version of the App. Only former clients who used the free version may continue to use it.

Obviously, the free version has less storage capacity on Drive and less mailbox quota on GMail. Let’s see if future changes on Google policies will affect this service.
