After some effort, I have managed to get this wonderful KVM based Raspberry Pi to be functional. The problem I was facing was that, basically the kit only comes prepared for one HDMI video input, and my use case was for VGA. After getting the right adapter (remember that analog-to-digital conversion needs an active power supply).

This is the result obtained in a console session through this KVM.
